Viewing Angle and Glare
Ultra Viewing Angle and anti reflection treatment are both listed. Off axis performance is a real weakness of LCD panels compared with OLED, and Samsung’s wide angle layer addresses it. On a 98 inch screen in a room where people sit across a wide arc, this is a more meaningful feature than it would be on a smaller set.

- 86 inches wide. Measure the room, the doorways and the stairs before ordering. Delivery access defeats more large television purchases than any specification does.
- No native refresh rate is published. Motion Xcelerator Turbo+ is a feature name, not a refresh figure.

The anti reflection treatment and the wide viewing angle layer both address the realities of a big room with seating spread across it.
Skip it if the room is dark and you want the deepest possible blacks, where an OLED is the better technology. Skip it also if the installation is not straightforward, because a 167 pound panel is unforgiving of an inadequate mount.
